    Interim Pastor Ken Polk is a native of Nashville, TN and is a graduate of MTSU (BS) and American Baptist Theological Seminary (M.DIV.) Memphis, TN.  His wife of 45  years, Diana who is a retired teacher and worship pianist.  They have three children (Rachal, Jason and Joel), all in vocational Christian  ministry and eight grandchildren.

    Over the past 43 years, Ken has pastored churches in Tennessee, Arkansas and Virginia.  His longest tenure was with Northside Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN where he served for 28 years as Senior Pastor and church planter.  In addition to his local church ministry, Ken has served in multiple volunteer mission projects around the world.  Since retiring from full-time pastorate in 2017, he has been privileged to supply preach and serve as interim pastor in numerous churches across Middle Tennessee.

  • Parker Holder

    Worship Pastor

    Parker has been faithfully serving NFBC since 2000. He graduated form Belmont University in 1960 with a degree in music. His passion for music also led him to take some graduate classes from the University of Tennessee and Peabody College. Parkers training in music allowed him to teach music at Metro Nashville Schools for 25 years, where he impacted countless lives with his gifts. Parker has not just been passionate about music, but he has a passion for the church and for God's people to sing about the great grace of our Lord. He has been privileged to serve in five different churches through the years and has been leading worship for almost sixty years. Parker has three grown children and seven grandchildren. His wife Carol serves faithfully in our churches nursery. Parker also has been singing with a men's quartet group called the Golden Heirs for the past five years.
